Voyage of Discovery – It’s not all business

We’re making sure your first-ever international Connective Conference is an action-packed extravaganza you’ll never forget! We’re planning some truly excellent social events including a fantastic tropical island cruise and a glamorous Voyage of Discovery Gala Dinner After Party!

Welcome dinner

To kick things off we’re set to deliver you with a complete Fijian cultural experience at our Welcome Dinner including Fijian warriors, fire dancers, and fantastic live entertainment by musical duo Carl & Tash.

Afternoon boat cruise – Thursday from 2:00pm

It wouldn’t be a Voyage of Discovery without a boat cruise! And what better place for it than the gorgeous blue waters of the Fijiian Islands? At the tail end of Fiji’s dry season, October is the perfect time to set sail.

On the Thursday afternoon of our Voyage of Discovery Conference, we’re planning to take you on a leisurely cruise aboard the Fiji One for a trip around the Mamanuca Islands. You’ll be able to kick back and relax, enjoy the fantastic scenery and mix with fellow delegates at the boat’s open bar deck while we make our way to our island destination. Once there, you can kick off your shoes on a white sandy beach and spend the rest of the afternoon swimming, snorkeling and enjoying the Fijiian sunshine!

For those of you keen for a bit of a snorkel, equipment will be provided by the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa. All snorkeling will be fully guided, with multiple trips running on a rotation basis. Glass bottom boat trips and kayaks will also be available.

Our official Gala Dinner After Party

Our Conference Gala Dinner is always one of the most enjoyable evenings on our conference schedule. And this year, we’ve extended the official celebrations by planning a fantastic After Party courtesy of our sponsors, Firstmac!

This year’s conference Gala Dinner will be held on the Thursday night, October 16th. If you’re not completely exhausted from Meke dancing, our Gala Dinner After Party celebrations will kick on at Fiji’s Hard Rock Café. And it may be 2014, but we plan to party like it’s 1999!

The official Gala Dinner After Party will commence at the conclusion of the Connective Gala Dinner on Thursday evening and continue into the wee small hours of Friday, so make sure you’re ready for some serious party action!

Get access to the After Party of the year!

If you’re keen to attend the After Party of the year all you need to do is chat with one of your Firstmac representatives, Darren McLeod or Jake Sanders, during our Conference programme. Your Firstmac rep will give you your personal invitation to the party.

Transport?

We’ve got your transport to the After Party covered via Bula Buses from the front of the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa, so you’ll find it easy to get there.
