This table is a guide and lists the main changes to the Car Insurance Product Disclosure Statement (PDS). The information in the table does not replace or vary our PDS so please read the entire PDS for details of features and benefits and to ensure that this product is right for you.

10 Clarification You / your / yours: removed reference to "employee/s and household member/s or any person acting for the policyholder, business or for a household member".
Accessories and modifications 11 Clarification How to include accessories and modifications in the market value or agreed value.

Theft 12 Clarification Examples provided for what "reasonable precautions" are required when the car is being test driven.
Legal Liability 12 Reduction Legal Liability includes cover for the driver of the insured car and substitute car; cover while driving any uninsured car has been removed.
Personal Transport 13 Benefit New cover for the reimbursement for personal transport costs up to $100 after an insured event.
Hire Car 13, 14 and 19 Clarification Updated to clarify what type of hire car is provided in various circumstances.
13, 14 and 19 Clarification Confirmation of running costs that are not covered.
13 , 14 and 19 Reduction Extended exclusion to also exclude hire cars used for paid delivery services.
Uninsured Third Party 14 Clarification Clarified information required about a third party.
Unbraked Trailer 15 Benefit Previously Optional Cover, now automatically included as Extra Cover in Comprehensive and Third Party Fire and Theft policies.
15 Reduction Cover reduction from $2,500 to $1,500.
15 Reduction No longer available for Third Party Property Only policies.
Temporary Replacement Cover 16 Benefit Previously Immediate Replacement Car cover; includes cover for when the car is given away.
Counselling Services 16 Benefit Removed 6-month limit to commence counselling.
Funeral Expenses 16 Benefit New Extra Cover for Comprehensive policies; includes up to $5,000 for funeral expenses as a result of an accident.
Maritime Liability - Reduction No longer available.
Business Items (optional) 19 Clarification Increased cover limits to $400 per item and $2000 in total per claim.
19 Reduction No longer available for Third Party Property Only policies.
Choice of Repairer (optional) 20 Clarification Additional information about how we assess and approve repairs for your choice of repairer.

How we settle your claim 24 - 27 Clarification Updated section providing clarity on how we settle claims.
How we settle your claim – New car replacement 27 Benefit Removed the 500km limit for when the car is purchased, and the 40,000km limit for when the incident occurs.
27 Reduction For demonstrator cars, the 24-month replacement period now applies from when the dealer first registered the car, rather than when it was first registered by you or a listed driver.
Excess 27 - 28 Clarification Clarification of how and when an excess applies.
Actions of others 28 Benefit New section describing circumstances where cover may not be limited by the actions of other people.
